This
college aims to produce top-quality technical professionals
for the 21st century using practical teaching methods
through which to apply theories of natural science to
the real world. Studies are divided into two parts including
the study of spatial environment, which seeks to improve
the quality of human life and the study of industrial
technology, which seeks to nurture technical talent for
the cutting edge industry.
The College of Engineering takes advantage of its unique
status as the Gyeonggi provincial consortium designated
university by practicing industry-university cooperation
through the Advanced Materials & Applied Technology
Research Center, Joint Research Institute of Industry
and School and Industry Environment Research Institute. |

Introduction to the Major |
Established in 1983 as the first department
of the Kyungwon University College of Engineering, this major has
spearheaded the development of the College of Engineering.
With a focus on urban planning, urban design and traffic planning
research areas, this major teaches the effective use and balanced
development of the land and practical methods through which to promote
ecology in large cities which are growing bigger and bigger each day. |
