The College of Human Ecology, which was started with the Department of Clothing in 1983 and has been developing ever since, has total of six departments including the recently founded Department of Taekwondo in 1997. A graduate program was also installed in the Department of Clothing in 1997. Dept. of Clothing     Introduction to the Major This department aims to produces professionals who will go on to play leading roles in the clothing industry, through the teaching of professional and practical knowledge regarding clothes and their ornament. Classes take the form of seminars, field trips and museum visits and also include practice and theory classes. The Department of Clothing is now expected to really take off since Kyungwon University was designated as the Design Specialized University.
