This school believes that a thriving design industry is essential for our society and culture and therefore focuses on the development of a prestigious design education system that will allow the industry to move forward along with digital culture. The school also offers advanced, systematical classes in culture, design and information technology which aim to keep up with changes to the 21st century design paradigm. The school˘®?s main objective is to nurture the world class strategic designers required by the industry in general through the teaching of new specializations, including state-of-the-art digital visual technology, high added-value cultural information and design policy and identity, as well as keeping up to date with cultural developments.
 
Departments and Major Areas  
Department of Media Design
  This department focuses on cultivating the visual media industry, which is one of the 21st century˘®?s most state-of-the-art industries. The courses focus on research in the fields of visual content, computer graphics, 2D and 3D animation, game production and new media, which allow for the exchange of information between humans and computers. The department also encourages students to develop their creative thinking abilities through motion capture, 3D animation, artificial intelligence, computer games and internet broadcasting.

Department of Contents Design
  The main research and educational objective of this department is to find design solutions to unite industry with culture thus enabling society to enjoy continued prosperity and a better quality of life. The department focuses on the general areas of design and culture, and the mission of the cultural contents industry to develop creative solutions to spearhead economic development and cultural prosperity into the 21st century.

Department of Life Style Design
  This course aims to equip future life style designers with the professional knowledge necessary to improve human life through the study of concepts such as cultural environment, new trend and sensible values. This department operates a curriculum based on the concepts of living energy and living design and offers two majors in spatial design and beauty design. The curriculum focuses on combining living design theories with the 21st century philosophies behind life style design and modern culture, aiming to find a balance between the living design fields of education and the industry itself.
